Born and raised in Nashville, Larsen grew up in a city steeped in music. Starting bass in high school, she fell in love with expressing herself through music. After she began playing the upright bass, Larsen decided to pursue a career in music. Her playing is creative, with a modern voice that remains rooted in tradition.
